Hello, Seminoles fans! My name is Bobby Kanka, and I am beyond excited to announce that I’ve officially signed with the Florida State University football program as part of the 2025 recruiting class. This is a huge step in my football journey, and I want to share with you why FSU was the perfect choice for me.
First and foremost, it’s the culture at Florida State that stood out to me. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt a sense of tradition and pride in the program. The Seminoles have a rich history of success, from national championships to legendary players who have graced Doak Campbell Stadium. That legacy is something I want to be a part of, and I’m eager to contribute to its future.
Another key factor in my decision was the coaching staff. Coach Mike Norvell and his staff have created an environment where players are not only pushed to be their best on the field but also supported in their personal growth. They have a clear vision for the team’s future, and I believe in their ability to develop me as both an athlete and an individual. Coach Norvell’s commitment to excellence and his focus on building strong relationships with his players made me feel like I was joining a family, not just a football team.
In addition to the coaching staff, the facilities at Florida State are world-class. I had the chance to tour the campus and the football facilities, and I was blown away. The resources available to athletes are second to none, from the state-of-the-art training facilities to the academic support structures. FSU truly invests in its student-athletes, and that made a significant impact on me.
Lastly, the fanbase at Florida State is unmatched. Seminole Nation is one of the most passionate and loyal fanbases in all of college football. The energy at home games is electric, and I can’t wait to play in front of those fans who will be cheering us on every step of the way.
I am incredibly excited for what’s to come at FSU. I believe that this is the right place for me to grow, both as a player and as a person, and I can’t wait to take the field in garnet and gold. Go No
